The Special Chassis is the proven basis for armoured personnel carriers, recon and special vehicles – combining Unimog DNA with a robust diesel engine and automatic transmission. Standardised interfaces facilitate integration and scalability, making it a flexible platform for a wide range of military body configurations. Gross vehicle weights range from 9.5 t to 42 t, with customised solutions up to 56 t GVW available.
