Capability Without Compromise.
The Atego covers light-duty applications: as a 4x4 chassis, it carries up to 5 tonnes of payload and provides space for up to six people. Military-specific options such as fording capability, stealth lights, transport eyes, recovery and towing equipment, spare wheel holder and tyre pressure control system, options for challenging fuel characteristics and the almost worldwide service network mean that Mercedes-Benz Defence Trucks can be deployed all over the world.
The Atego A-model series forms a robust backbone for basic logistics and central defence hubs, combining high payload with long-distance haulage competence.
