The Special Chassis is the 4x4 / 6x6 basis for armoured combat vehicles such as armoured personnel carriers as well as recon and special vehicles up to a permissible gross weight of 14.8 tonnes. It combines Unimog DNA with a robust diesel engine and automatic transmission. Standardised interfaces facilitate integration and scalability.
